god?
i listen to lots of public radio, and in doing so i hear a lot of political topics. also i have paid close attention to the amount of religous influence in the federal government. i beleive i may of come up with a reason for mr. bush's confusion with "god". i think that if there is a christian god, it most likely is not a republican. it probably doesn't have a political party. i think perhaps that mr. bush is actually insane, and when refering to god, he is actually refering to a republican god. just something i thought of the other day.

The post reminds me of the way that in the times of set-piece battles, a familiar sight would have been priests walking along the front lines, blessing the troops, on both sides of the fight... as if God would favour one side over the other.
If there is a God, I think he would be royally confused over the whole 'in my name' thing.

thank you and i almost miss the days of a non partisan god. one that doesn't take the side of any religion... wait... that was a dream... nevermind
